Please note that all cats must be immunised against
feline enteritis and upper respiratory infections (cat flu) and an
up-to-date vaccination certificate must be produced upon arrival.
All cats will be examined on arrival and we reserve the right to refuse
admission to any animal showing signs of ill health, pending the advice
of our vets.
Responsible owners will appreciate that this policy is essential to
safeguard the health of all our boarders.
With the exception of vaccinations and
pre-existing conditions, all cats are insured during their stay with us.
Should any flea or worming treatments be necessary during your cat's
stay, costs will be charged accordingly. Treatment is readily available
from your vet and we firmly believe prevention is better than cure.
Un-neutered male cats over the age of nine months will not be accepted
due to their habit of spraying.
Daily medication in the form of eye or ear drops, ointments and oral
tablets can be administered on your instructions. However, injections
can only be given by your own or our local vet.
Should veterinary attention be required we would contact our own vets at
Chapelfield Surgery who are situated only a few hundred metres away and
provide a 24 hour service.
Visitors are politely requested not to touch any other cat other than
their own to reduce the risk of infection.
